This is my experience with this gym! I really liked this gym because the play place is nice for kids. When I first signed up, the front desk guy said it will be $230 to join and it will 60 per month. Kids can be at the day care for free since they are under 7years old. Ok, thatβs perfect. I signed up, went there 3 days total. This month I got charged $144. I reached out, they never called back for the charges. I went in to talk to someone today, the red head girl said they double charged me. Iβm not sure they are even going give my money back for charging me extra. The red head girl was super rude, they have horrible customer service! Super unprofessional and this place is filthy! Someone needs to come check this gym because this place canβt be sanitary! You should be ashamed for charging so much for a DIRTY DUMP you call gym!

Overall happy with the place, joined a couple of months ago. One big issue keeps me at 3 stars, hope its addressed. I was a key advisor for Club Green Meadows for 25 years and had a direct line to the owners, so hope know a little about clubs. The good things, never met anyone that was unpleasant. Good orientation. Front area attractive, lots of variety, tennis courts not used much but look in good shape. Very senior driven, lots of classes for them. Locker room and some needs updating but you can't have everything. I do make my opinions known and ask questions. The big issue to me is getting anyone in charge to call back. Was hoping they might upgrade their tennis program for adults being senior driven, no interest. People in charge like Becky, Ryan (owner), etc., leave a message and it dies. No luck on Facebook Messenger or email either. Guess it is what it is, but could be better.

I've been a member of quite a few gyms in my life. This place has a nice community of people. I wish the hours were better, the hours are very inconvenient on Sundays, they're open 4 hours? Week days they don't open until 6... I purchased a second gym membership (planet) to offset the gap :) My biggest complaint is one that I (and others have brought up to the desk staff) which is the person hygiene of a few members. This goes beyond "normal" sweat / work out smell. You can't go within 15 to 20 feet of them without dry heaving - they'll clear out the entire cardio and weight room. Most gyms have simple hygiene policies in their membership agreements... This is a communal space, would it be too much to ask to remind others the gym is a shared space? That showering, deodorant and wearing clean clothes /towels are recommended.

My family and I have been members for several years. Comfortable surroundings, helpful staff and clean workout areas. Good place to find if you are an experienced lifter/athlete who needs a well equipped weight training facility. Good variety of aerobic machines in a spacious workout area. Open gymnasiums, tennis and pickleball courts, big indoor and outdoor pools, too. Hot tub and sauna in the locker rooms. The vibe among members ( who tend to be of older average age) is relaxed and friendly.

Our membership at Lakeshore Athletic Club spans a few years, and despite the facilities exuding a charming, somewhat dated ambiance, there's an undeniable allure that consistently draws our family back. The staff consistently exceeds expectations, going above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere that turns every visit into a positive experience. Into delve into my engagement with the facilities. The two basketball gyms have become a standout feature for me. When it comes to equipment, Lakeshore Athletic Club certainly doesn't fall short. The variety of Hammer Strength, Body Master, and Graviton machines caters to a spectrum of workout preferences. Additionally, the gym showcases an impressive array of dumbbells, ranging from 5 to 100 lbs. While the facility may not boast the latest in cutting-edge technology, it compensates with essential equipment like 1 Squat Rack, 1 Olympic Rack, and a Smith Machine.
